Malek Hammad oversees the firm's investment infrastructure, due-diligence workflow and portfolio-monitoring framework. A CFA Charterholder, he combines an analytical foundation in computer science with cross-asset experience in private markets, and is responsible for the disciplined execution that underpins each Blackswan transaction.
Background
Prior to joining Blackswan, Mr. Hammad spent more than four years at Al Jazira Family Office in Abu Dhabi, supporting the management of a USD 1.8 billion multi-asset portfolio spanning private equity, venture capital, real assets and structured alternatives. In that role he led end-to-end financial due diligence and built valuation frameworks — discounted cash flow, net present value and comparable-company analyses — across opportunities in fintech, healthcare and the automotive sector. He authored investment memoranda and investment-committee presentations for senior leadership and principals, and worked closely with internal and external counterparties to underwrite assumptions, ensure data integrity and produce defensible valuations from pre-seed through growth stage.
He conducted quantitative and qualitative risk assessment across financial, operational, market and execution dimensions, and produced recurring and ad-hoc analyses using advanced Excel models, Power BI dashboards and third-party data platforms. He joined the family office as an intern in mid-2021 and was promoted to Investment Analyst within six months.
