Michał Urbanek supports the Blackswan platform as its licensed land surveyor in Poland, providing geodetic and cartographic services across the firm's Polish real-estate workstreams — from maps for design purposes and base-map updates, through property divisions, boundary determinations and building stake-outs, to as-built inventories of completed structures and utility connections. He holds state professional licence No. 19894 in geodesy and cartography, covering both survey and realisation measurements and the demarcation and division of real property.
Background
A graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Mr. Urbanek has since 2011 been a licensed surveyor and plenipotentiary of the owner at Biuro Obsługi Inwestycji in Mikołów, Silesia — an established surveying practice serving institutional clients, companies and private landowners across the region — and between 2016 and 2022 ran his own surveying firm, Radian, in parallel. The practice's team of university-qualified surveyors delivers mapping in both paper and digital form alongside realisation and investor measurements — including base maps and maps for spatial planning, boundary re-establishments and parcel-area verification, stake-outs of underground utility networks and household connections, earth-mass calculations and specialist measurements.
Beyond his surveying practice, Mr. Urbanek is an experienced developer in his own right: since 2004 he has built nine residential, multi-family and office buildings on his own account, managing the full construction process from land and permitting through design coordination to delivery — investor-side experience that directly informs his work on Blackswan's land and development pipeline.
