Serena Liegey leads investor relations and strategic partnerships for the Blackswan platform, owning the firm's engagement with family offices, institutional investors, sovereign-linked entities and strategic partners. Her track record spans capital markets, business development and capital formation across the United States, Europe and the Middle East, in private markets, real estate, healthcare and financial technology.
Background
Ms. Liegey began her career at Weston International Capital in London, a Mauritius-incorporated litigation finance and capital-formation firm, where she conducted roadshows presenting institutional-grade claims and case portfolios to investors across Singapore, Mauritius, London and Dubai, drafted private placement materials, and led business development across alternative investment strategies. She moved to The Equity Group in New York as Senior Associate, Investor Relations, guiding clients from pre-IPO through listing — including dual listings from Europe into the United States — running global roadshows and overseeing shareholder communications and regulatory disclosure across NASDAQ- and NYSE-listed clients.
As Deputy Director, Investor Relations at a New York institutional asset manager, she led investor engagement across private equity, venture capital and hedge fund strategies, managing relationships with more than two hundred institutional and wealth-focused investors, building sponsorship partnerships across consultant, retirement-plan advisory, subadvisory and insurance channels, and lifting event engagement by approximately thirty per cent through structured outreach. She served as the firm's central point of contact for investor and consultant inquiries and briefed senior leadership on investor sentiment and market intelligence.
In the Gulf, Ms. Liegey has served as Senior Investment & Portfolio Operations Lead, Middle East at Palmarium Family Office in Abu Dhabi, partnering with founders and executive leadership across a five-company portfolio spanning fintech, healthcare and alternative asset management. There she originated institutional engagement across a network of more than one hundred banks, regulators and financial institutions; directed capital raising, investor outreach and diligence, facilitating up to USD 300 million for founders preparing to scale; steered market-entry and regulatory strategy with legal, compliance and external advisers; and sourced secondaries and pre-IPO opportunities through her personal network. She is also a Partner at CCHL, a boutique UAE advisory and governance practice serving boards and executive management of operating companies, asset managers, funds, family offices and foundations across the UAE and the wider MENA region, and advises a US private real-estate developer on investor relations and capital strategy.
Sector Coverage
Ms. Liegey's coverage spans capital raising and investor relations, family offices and institutional investors, government and sovereign relations, real-estate capital markets, market-entry strategy and cross-border transactions, with a particular strength in originating capital and brokering high-value relationships across jurisdictions.
